Our Auckland Transit Lounge provides a relaxing and stress-free environment for your pet and is conveniently located within a 5-minute drive of Auckland airport.
Our Auckland Transit Lounge gives your pets the opportunity to spend some time relaxing outside of their crate before their flight, where they will receive plenty of love, attention and walks from our animal loving Pet Handlers who will take great care of them once they have been checked in. Our vets are trained in pet transport care and are available on-site at Auckland’s Transit Lounge when required, to ensure your pet is comfortable, healthy and prepared to travel.
If your pet is travelling through our Auckland Transit Lounge they have the luxury of:
- A Plan B option for flight delays or cancellations, where possible. If your flight is delayed or cancelled, pets are brought back to the Transit Lounge where they are given an opportunity to relax outside of their travel crates (Applicable for flight delays of more than 3 hours)
- Being within a close proximity to Auckland Airport, ready for their travel.

Q: What are the pet travel requirements for international departures from Auckland?
Pets leaving Auckland airport internationally require Export certificates. Jetpets team of Auckland travel consultants are well equipped to handle your paperwork and will ensure you have all required documents before departing Auckland.

The Ministry for Primary Industries outlines the requirements for bringing cats and dogs to New Zealand. Jetpets strictly adhere to these guidelines and ensure that your pet is able to smoothly be brought into Auckland.
