Monty and Olly the Labrador Retriever

Hi Andrea, Thank you for your email. Monty and Olly have adjusted really well. Monty is having a great time exploring and getting attention from everyone. Olly has surprised us and has not shown any signs of distress. He coped really well with the 3 hour car ride after his flight and has just been relaxing inside since we arrived. I can't believe how well he coped. Here is a photo of Monty and Olly after the house sold and Olly when we picked him up from Christchurch airport. I haven't got a photo of the two of them in NZ just yet. I will send one through when I do. Thank you so much for all your help, it was amazing! You made the process run so smoothly and helped put my mind at ease. I have already recommended Jet Pets to two people looking at taking their animals over seas. Tiger the DOG

Hi Nikkie, Happy new year. Hope all is well. Just to let you know that tiger and I arrived safely to Tonga. Had Tiger out of quarantine the same day after examined by the Tongan Vet. Tiger and I sent you a very big thank you from Tonga for everything that u had done for her. We are also safe from the cyclone. If you ever like to visit Tonga one day, please look me up. You are welcome to stay with us in our humble little house in Nukualofa. Many thanks again Nikkie for your efficient and quick assistance for us and to all your colleagues too. Tinker and Taylo the German Shepherds

Hi Nikkie Well, we’re finally settling down after a somewhat frantic few weeks! Tinker and Taylor arrived safely on the Saturday – I think they were somewhat jetlagged and totally bewildered as to where they were (see photo). Where is the green grass? Where are the trees and flowers? What is that brown stuff (sand)? What is that green stuff like grass (artificial grass)? Anyhow, after a few days, they perked up and I think they’ve finally decided that they’re quite happy being in the desert! It’s winter here so it’s a beautiful temperature – actually it gets quite chilly in the early mornings, but the days are just glorious. We took them to the beach last weekend for a paddle – Bob is practicing his kite flying skills!!! He hadn’t worked out how the ‘fishing line’ leads worked!!! We’ve all had to learn a lot since we’ve been here! We’d all just like to think you all very much for organising such a trouble free and stress free move for us. We were seriously worried about the whole exercise as both dogs had never spent a night away from home before until their move, and also being the age they are, we were also concerned about what could go wrong. Nothing did and we’re just so grateful to you all. Please could you pass on our thanks to everyone concerned. DKC were also wonderful and I’d have absolutely no hesitation recommending both JetPets and DKC. Thanks again to you all! Kind regards and lots of woofs Bob, Kim, Tinker and Taylor

Munchkin the Rabbit
